8 separate handling cycles may be memorized, programme storage is carried out by operator by connecting joy-stick to conveyor robot and carrying out movements at positions envisaged by cycle. A wait from 1 sec. to 10 min. may be memorized at each position.
More programmes may be joined together so as to have a single cycle and more subprogrammes included in a single main programme as a single instruction. Positions, once stored, may be called up and checked before carrying out automatic cycle.
4-level speed may be changed for every movement, both vertical and horizontal. Cycles may be carried out continuously or singly. A microprocessor-driven ground-decoded photocell serial conversation may be added to system so as to control users (see timing or switch-on and switch-off: ultrasounds – spray rinsing pump, rolling unit feeding control, and so forth); to be slaved to safety devices (free discharge, oven doors opened or closed, and so forth); for a total of 8 inputs + 8 outputs (16 inputs + 16 outputs being optional).
Total definition position sensors recognize point even if robot is moved manually and in case of voltage failure, restarting from point where voltage has failed. Handling is fluid, free of shocks, thanks to an acceleration and deceleration ramp and microprocessor-operated drives, according to distance and load inertia.
Lift:
Useful in cleaning cycles needing piece-holder basket vertical handling. Capable of carrying out stops, shaking basket and turning basket to preset positions, if desired.
Chain conveyors:
Allow baskets to be hooked to a moving chain for high throughput treatment, a double chain is used in case of very heavy pieces.
